El Palacio de Cristal

The Crystal Palace in Retiro Park, Madrid
This is a shot of the Crystal Palace in Retiro Park in Madrid. Because I shot it through a window and there was a bit of reflection from something behind me, the frame of the structure looks either gray or blue. I thought it was interesting. Your mileage may vary.

Near the airport

Omaha Box Company building
As you can probably tell, this is the Omaha Box Company. It's near the Omaha airport, across the street from a Nebraska correctional facility (lots of razor wire). I would have gotten a shot of that, too, but I figure they probably don't like people taking pictures of that sort of thing.

What I liked about this building was that it looks so out of place. It's quite literally just three blocks from the airport. There's nothing like this at National, Dulles, or BWI, I assure you.

I love seeing company names/old ads actually painted on bricks. In the near future, I will share other (more interesting) shots of the same ilk from Omaha.
